Cruelty-free and natural beauty brand RealHer Cosmetics was founded in 2015. The brand supports empowerment for women and donates 20% of their profits to the American Association of University Women, a 100-year-old NPO that promotes equity for women and girls, through leadership programmes, advocacy, education and research.
At the moment, RealHer only offers Moisturising Lipsticks in their range, but word is that they will expand to include more makeup products soon. There are five shades in the range.

Packaging of RealHer Cosmetics Moisturising Lipsticks
The white and black colour-blocking design is neat. These are sturdy plastic cases and close with a satisfying click. The shade names reflect the brand's philosophy and support of empowerment and confidence for women - I Am Powerful, Be Yourself Be RealHer, Women Rule The World, I Love Myself, and I Define Beauty Myself.
Formula and pigmentation of RealHer Cosmetics Moisturising Lipsticks
All ingredients in these lipsticks are sustainable. They include shea butter, jojoba and macadamia oils, and Vitamin E. The lipsticks do not contain parabens, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrance, lead, talc, gluten or phthalates. These are creamy, and you get full opacity in one swipe, as you can see in the swatches further below. Staying power is four hours without eating; like most bullet lipsticks, these did not survive greasy meals - although the deepest shade (I Am Powerful) left behind a stain.
The shades I have are (from left) I Love Myself, Women Rule The World, and I Am Powerful.
Swatches of RealHer Cosmetics Moisturising Lipsticks
I Love Myself is what the website calls a nude - this is the palest lipstick I've ever worn. It is a very peachy pale nude. I'm afraid this - a Victoria Beckham lip - isn't a good look on me and whatever shows up looks patchy on me. I might have better luck using it as a concealer, since it is creamy enough. I would have been happier with the shade "I Define Beauty Myself", which is a mauve.
Women Rule The World is a bright pink. This applies nicely and is light and hydrating.
I Am Powerful - a vampy wine - glides on beautifully and leaves behind a rose-red stain that I enjoy wearing.

Price and where to buy
Nice pigmentation and creaminess, especially with the deeper shades. I love the brand's philosophy and look forward to seeing more from their range. Always good to see cruelty-free and sustainable brands that promote a worthy cause. I want to try I Define Beauty Myself, since that is a mauve lippie, and mauve and dusty rose are my lip colours of choice. To buy, hit the RealHer website here. These cost $12.99 apiece - and they ship worldwide. You get 10% off if you subscribe to their newsletter.
