Mad Beauty is a UK-based brand that specialises in making cosmetics fun. They have the cutest foot files, glosses, makeup brushes, pretty nail polishes, bags, lip balms, bath and body products and nail art supplies. Whatever I have tried so far is good quality, and the prices are reasonable.
I picked up a few of their products from Notting Hill way back last July, and thought I would show you their Kellogg's range first.
The Mad Beauty Kellogg's range displays a series of vintage Kellogg's advertisements.
I bought a lip balm, a mini emery board pack and a manicure set.
The manicure set costs £4.95 in-store. This is more of a keepsake - I don't use steel nail files but prefer emery boards.
The lip balm, costing £2.95 in-store, is my favourite of the lot. It smells JUST like icing, tastes sweet and is incredibly creamy and lasts all night - my lips are still hydrated in the morning. At the same time, it isn't a greasy balm. Burt's Bees lip balms or this? This. EOS or this? Tie. Dr Smith Rosebud Salve or this? Dr Smith Rosebud Salve.
Visit the Mad Beauty website here - I guarantee you will spend a LOT of time looking at those things. They ship worldwide at reasonable costs, so you might find some whimsical Valentine's Day prezzies for someone special.
Are you a sucker for cute packaging? Or do you prefer your beauty products to look staid? Or, like me, do you buy BOTH? Tell me in the Disqus comments widget below.
