Bath & Unwind, a beauty retailer that ships worldwide, often teams up with At Home Magazine in the UK to put together exclusive beauty bags. Their Christmas edition was launched recently. This year's bag contains full-sized and sample sized products. As Bath & Unwind is primarily a bath and body product retailer, you cannot expect much makeup. On the other hand, they send out mid- to higher-end brands such as Nuxe, Alpha H, Arran Aromatics and so on.

Perfect for very dry weather or if your skin is in flake-mode. No parabens, all-natural. I will be using this on my dry elbows as my face is an explosion in a fireworks factory right now and I am on tetracycline (oral) and clindamycin (topical).

A beautiful fragrance. I wonder how this will stand up against my beloved Molton Brown body washes. I am currently using MB Ylang Ylang - will add this one to the queue of shower gels.

I love this refreshing, gentle face mask that is perfect for problem skin. It does not break me out and helps me avoid moisturiser.

This goes into my travel bag. I like citrus-scented shower gels and Korres makes some good ones, though nowhere near Molton king-of-indulgence Brown.

Badger Balm Lip Balm in Tangerine Breeze 4.2g - full size
A 100% organic lip balm that smells mild, but does not feel minty or menthol-y on the lips, thank heavens. I have tried and loved Badger Balm muscle rubs, though this is my first lip balm from them.

Guam Britannia Dren Plusa 12ml
I had no idea what this thing was and had to check it out on their website. Turns out it is a supplement that helps relieve water retention and cellulite. It contains green tea, seaweed, vegetal extracts, birch and blackcurrants.
I barely drink enough water as it is! Besides, I am quite unexcited about getting supplements in beauty boxes. Will figure out what to do with this later.

Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil - Charcoal Obsidian - full size
NOT black - hurrah! This is a pearly mica-grey shade that is creamy and pigmented. The other end has a smudger. The pencil contains beeswax, carnuba, candelilla wax and organic moringa oil.
Price: £21.83 - at this price for pencil, I am surprised it contains no diamonds, rubies, emeralds or sapphires.

Arran Aromatics Velvet Isle Hand and Nail Cream 50ml - Christmas gift; full size
I first came across Arran Aromatics during my UK trip this Summer - they had a bath and body edition at Wimbledon, and I fell in love with the products - see the post here. A beautiful-smelling silky-feeling cream nourished with honey, figs, cedarwood, ylang ylang and crushed leaves.

Verdict
Not a bad deal; nine products, plus a Christmas bonus. I don't count the foil sachets. I also received a gift card for £5 which can be used on my next order. Five of these are full-sized. The only makeup product is the Eye of Horus grey eyeliner, but I knew that from the start, and Bath & Unwind primarily deals with bath and body and skincare.
I particularly love the Arran Aromatics hand cream, the Nuxe face mask and the Badger lip balm. The other products are yet to be tried out.
