It has been a rough week, family-wise. I'd like to take a minute to warn you of the dangers that uncontrolled diabetes poses to otherwise healthy people. An uncle of mine died unexpectedly, the cause being high sugar levels. If you or a loved one has diabetes, make sure you/they follow the GP's instructions, keep the sugar levels well within normal and take the prescribed medication/insulin regularly. Hugs!
Moving on to the subject of this post, I particularly loved some of the products I finished up in March 2015. Others have, as usual, brought out the vitriolic side of my tongue.
Check out the beauty products I used up in March 2015 and my thoughts on each.
Makeup
Josie Maran Argan Matchmaker Foundation
I cannot do a detailed review after two uses from a sachet, but here are my initial impressions. I LOVE the finish. I love the matte effect. I love the staying power. I love the gliding and the hydration. The con? There are three shade options: Fair/Light, Light/Medium and Medium/Dark. These are supposed to adjust to your skintone and the Light/Medium version is supposed to suit those with "lightest skin with yellow-olive undertones to medium skin with yellow-olive undertones". I figured I would fall under the former.
Having swatched Medium/Dark, it is too deep for me, while Light/Medium is pale and un-yellow for me.
Repurchase? If they add a shade, yes. WHY do foundations with amazing formula come with lousy shade matching? Those of you who have this and can find a match, go enjoy it and don't rub it in, please.

Sheet masks
I used the Formula 10.0.6 In The T Zone Mattifying Cloth Mask on my t-zone and it definitely does mattify a great deal. I have to check out more products from this brand. The Tony Moly I'm Real Red Wine Mask Sheet for pore care actually contained red wine and the smell hit me as soon as I opened the mask. I have another of these left and can't wait to pamper myself!
Both the Etude House Lemon mask and the Soo Cucumber Essence Mask weren't special, but just decent sheet masks.
Repurchase? Nope, I don't repurchase sheet masks.

Hair care
Lush American Cream Conditioner
The best-smelling conditioner I've used in a long time. I would bathe in the fragrance, if I could. It didn't bring the boy(s) running, though, as promised by the label. Not even one, not from any species.Repurchase? Nope. If you promise that it will bring the boys, I expect you to keep your word....

Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence Spray
A lovely leave-in conditioning spray that left my wire-like hair soft and less woolly. Of late, I am loving everything from Philip Kingsley, including the famed Elasticiser. They're a great hair care line.Repurchase? After I'm through a few other conditioning sprays from beauty boxes. They certainly love sending them out, don't they?

Aloe Vera Shamar Herbal Shampoo
I picked this up while trekking, from this really tiny village up this mountain, where they sold goat's milk soaps, herbal shampoos and hair care packs. I loved how gentle this shampoo was.Repurchase? I haven't a clue as to where I can buy this; they don't sell online or offline anywhere else and I refuse to go mountain-climbing right now.
Tony Moly Angel Glow Hair Mask
Loved this - I have reviewed it here (PR sample). It definitely made my hair less frizzy, as you will see from the review.Repurchase? Already did!

Body care
Palmer's Olive Butter Formula Body Lotion
A paraben-free, inexpensive body lotion with a neutral fragrance. I'm glad there's more to Palmer's body lotions than the cocoa butter ones. My gripe was that it felt a tad too greasy, making the clothes stick to my skin. But once the lotion dried, they didn't stick. I recommend this for dry months, but not for the Summer.Repurchase? Not in the hotter months. When the weather is dry, yes.

St Ives Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub
Bawl, this is over! It smells beyond amazing! The scrub is comfy enough and not harsh; it barely felt like a scrub and more like a body wash with some "give" to it. I dug out every last bit of product from the tube, I loved the smell that much. Mmmmmm.Repurchase? YES!

Shara Shara Bebe Foot Hydration Mask
I like this foot mask more than the Holika Holika Baby Silky Foot one. For starters, this comes with tape to seal the pack around the feet. For another, it is less "wet".Repurchase? Bought 30 of the blighters, so there.

LadyKin Mangchee Hand Cream
Initially, I liked the smell. Then I realised that I wasn't sleeping at night because of the fragrance from my hands. There was something in this that my nose and head didn't like. I ended up using it as a foot cream and hoped my feet wouldn't find out I was using a hand cream on them.Repurchase? I don't think I need insomnia.

Holika Holika "I Want Chu" lip balm
For some reason, they thought it was a great idea to call a lip balm "I Want Chu" - let's say that with a Richie Benaud accent. Choo for choo-hundred and twenty-choo.Worse, they thought it would be great to make it sickly sweet-tasting. Seriously sickly-sweet. The good part about this lip balm was that it left a nice pink tint. I used it for the tint alone and made everyone around me laugh at the contortions on my face each time I inadvertently tasted my own lips. On the bright side, my appetite failed me and I knocked off a kilo. I need to go eat a vat of chilli - with lots of heat - just to recover from the sickly-sweetness.
Repurchase? To gift to my worst enemy. Hang on, why would I want to send them gifts?
