Whoa. I did not receive any Urban Decay palettes in a Memebox. N@ked boxes are just beauty boxes from Memebox where the contents are revealed before you buy, so those who are worried that they will get what they do not want, can pick and choose their boxes. I think it is a fantastic idea, and you get to pick boxes with the products that you really want.
For my part, I picked the N@ked 3 box simply because it had a product I really wanted, and the cost of the box was lower than the cost of the product by itself.
The N@ked boxes come without a product card. Why, when you already know what is inside, and what each product is for?
The Vita Capsule CC Cream is actually a medium shade that I can pull off, for once. I was getting super-pale shades in previous Memeboxes. This also has decent coverage, unlike previous creams they sent out. It does not last too long on me, though, as my oily skin tends to eat up anything that is not a powder. I can definitely use this as a foundation for shorter outings.
Ah, the Dear By Enprani Bounce Cheese Cream. Memebox's best-known product, possibly. I have to review it in detail for you, after a decent trial period. It smells like milk and cheese. It looks like mozzarella and comes off in strands. It dries matte on the face and stays matte. And it keeps the face soft. I have been using it as a moisturiser ever since I received it and hope it is included in future boxes - the Milk Box that you can get here for $23, for instance.
I love Moringa anything - moisturiser, body butter, lotion, cream... and I am so glad to receive the Kerasys Moringa Miracle Essence, which seems to be a great frizz-control serum for the hair. I have pretty much stopped buying hair serums and treatments, thanks to beauty boxes.
The Miss Beauty Sheet Mask claims to contain a mixture of four white flower extracts. It is made of 100% cotton and also contains niacinamide for stressed and tired skin. You can never have too many sheet masks, so good pick,
I am skipping the Heart Face Sleeping Pack and the Skinmiso Nose Pack as you have seen them in previous Memeboxes on this blog. I knew these two were in this box, but bought the box just the same because I was desperate enough for the Cheese Cream and, well, those are products that I can use, even if I am not crazy about them.
Summary
The Bounce Cheese Cream costs $35 by itself, while this whole box cost me $23. That, by itself, redeems this whole box. N@ked boxes are a great choice for those who are iffy about the surprise element in beauty boxes. For my part, I like the surprise element but will buy a N@ked box in future if I have missed out on a favourite product and see it in an unboxed N@ked box.
You can check out the new Memebox cocoa box here; all Superboxes here; all regular and special Memeboxes here; and all Luckyboxes here. You get $10 on signing up and $5 off if you buy three boxes using the code MEMEBUNDLE3. Use my referral code 8NQ77J to get an extra $3 off.
P.S. While Memebox ships to many countries, they have not reinstated shipping to Malaysia and several other nations where they used to have loyal customers. Please sign this petition to support our Meme-mates from around the world so that the company reinstates shipping everywhere.
