Of all the various types of Memeboxes, I prefer the regular Global Edition boxes most of all. They are the best value for money and offer the best mix. That said, of course I am going to buy other themed boxes as well, haha.
Memebox, as you know if you have come within a mile of my blog, is a Korean beauty box that ships (by registered) to many countries - please sign this petition to get them to add more. You can view the various Memeboxes on sale here, and check out my previous Memebox reviews here. Needless to say, every box so far has contained generous quantities of beauty products to try out; no mingy foil sachets. The boxes average $23, and you get "Memepoints" to spend on them in order to save on shipping - order any number of boxes at once and pay only one shipping cost anyway.
Here is my unboxing and review of the Memebox Global Edition 10 beauty box.
My Memebox Global Edition 10 contains:
- Drww Multi-Action Smart Cream Gel
- Mise en scene Curling Essence 2x
- Dewytree Ginseng Nutritious Black Mask
- Atopalm Moisturising Eye Repair Serum
- Caolion Mool Pool Deep Cleansing
- Hanskin Bio Origin Royal Ampoule
As you can see, everything except for the Hanskin Bio Origin Royal Ampoule is full-sized! A quick look at each of these:
Drww Multi-Action Smart Cream Gel contains mineral-rich water from coral reefs (don't ask me what, where or how, please), portulaca and green tea extracts. It is a moisturising and anti-ageing cream which tones, nourishes and soothes. A full-sized 70ml tube, this is going to be my face moisturiser for some time unless it breaks me out.
Mise en scene Curling Essence 2x is a whopping 150ml of argan oil and cedar wood oil hair essence which provides deep nutrition, lustre and elasticity to your locks. It also works as a styling cream. Sounds like I do not need to buy hair products for a very long time.
Dewytree Ginseng Nutritious Black Mask Pack has cutesy packaging. Ginseng and Ginkgo Leaf extracts are pretty much cult ingredients in Chinese/East Asian medicine and beauty treatments. This is actually a sheet mask which supposedly does a tonne of jobs such as sooth, nourish, tighten, relax and brush your teeth your face.
Caolion Mool Pool Deep Cleansing is a full-sized 75ml bottle which guarantees to remove even the most waterproof makeup. For some reason, that name is tickling my funny bone. It is oil-free and gentle and deep cleanses the pores. You can never have too many makeup removers and I can't wait to try this out. It sounds all the more interesting, because, according to the instructions, you are supposed to massage it in and roll with your hands until the cleanser "becomes too stiff to roll any more". I look forward to that happening!
Another huge win in this box for me is the Atopalm Moisturising Eye Repair Serum. You can never have too many eye creams either! This 15ml full-sized bottle is for dry skin around the eyes and promises to fight signs of ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles and dryness. It also hydrates and mimics the skin's natural lipids and does not contain parabens. All that sounds great, and I will tell you if it eventually delivers on its promises.
After all those whopping products, the Hanskin Bio Origin Royal "Ampoule" is a little bit small, isn't it? This is actually a BB cream with SPF30. It comes across as a sheer liquid foundation. This 5ml vial contains royal jelly extracts. Korean BB creams do not suit my skin tone as a rule and I only give them away but it would be interesting to see how a BB cream in a vial looks.
Summary
That is another amazing, jam-packed win of a box from Memebox. Is it any wonder that I am addicted to these beauty boxes and keep buying them? Box 10 is now sold out, but Global Edition box 14 is available here, as also several other gorgeous Memeboxes. Hurry, the regular global boxes have a nasty habit of selling out quickly.
Disclaimer: My own money. Memebox is too popular already, haha. By the way, is my photography better? I have tried something new here with two table lamps and a mirror.
