A couple of days ago, I did a manicure with teal blue shimmery nail polish and thought, why not do a matching eye look? There were two teal eyeshadows in theBalm's Balm Voyage makeup palette reviewed here, waiting for me to do a look with, so I decided that it would be teal this week. However, despite my preference for natural light, I'm afraid all these photographs are in artificial light because I left home before there was decent sunlight and came back when it was dark.
A3 is a pale greyish silver eyeshadow which I used to highlight the brow bone and in the inner corners. I don't think this shade suits my skintone one bit but you won't know till you've tried. B2 is a lovely aquamarine colour which went into the first half of the lids while C2 is a teal blue which went into the outer crease. A3 makes such a difference in skin colour between the eye area and the nose, doesn't it? I'm not going to use that shade again!
I finished with Smashbox Hyperlash mascara and Bourjois Erasable Eyeliner on the upper lid and Lancome Crayon Khol on the lower lashline. The primer was Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
One thing I have noticed is that the brighter eyeshadows tend to make the eyes pop, so even if you can't wear them to work and even if you swear brights will not suit your eye or skin colour, do give them a shot. You might be surprised, like I was!

Here is my teal blue eye makeup look with eyeshadows from theBalm's Balm Voyage palette.
For this look, I used three eyeshadows from the Balm Voyage palette - A3, B1 and C1.
