MAX Clinic Night Flash Massage Oil Foam cleanser review and usage

Max Clinic Night Flash Massage Oil Foam cleanser review, usage, photosMakeup removal is, for me, the hardest part of my makeup routine - simply because I tend to skive off with a wet wipe and jump into the shower at night, instead of reaching for a proper makeup remover. Which often leaves me with black eyeliner or mascara marks in the under-eye area. So I need a face wash that doubles up as an excellent makeup remover, at the end of the day.
I received the MAX Clinic Night Flash Massage Oil Foam in my Wish Box 15, unboxed here. There was 50ml in the box, so that is quite a decent sample. This looks, feels and acts like an oil until it comes in contact with water - then, it foams up and is a makeup removing cleanser.
I tend to avoid oil-based products as I have a very oily face, but the packaging said it would be suitable for all skin types and would not clog pores. Korean skin care usually does what it says for me, so I decided to begin using this, despite some misgivings over the word "oil".

Here is my review of the MAX Clinic Night Flash Massage Oil Foam and how I use it to remove makeup.

Formula of MAX Clinic Night Flash Massage Foam

Made of natural ingredients including olive, green tea, mandarin orange, lemon and jojoba oils, camellia, apple, soya bean and wild yam extracts, the MAX Clinic Oil Foam is a transparent-greenish-brown, viscous liquid. It is supposed to clear blackheads and pores and moisturise and lift your skin. No sulphates, parabens or silicones or mineral oil in the ingredients. One sachet fills up this little pot and you need a finger-dab of product for one use. The bubbles in there were formed after I dipped a wet finger in; otherwise it is more oil than gel.

How the MAX Clinic Night Flash Massage Foam works

On the skin, it is a transparent oil. I wet my face and apply a dab of the oil on the face and then massage it in with a few drops of water. That is when it lathers up beautifully. In fact, there is more lather from this oil than from some foaming cleansers.

It removes all traces of eye makeup and face makeup, though my longest-lasting lip colours - Chanel Rouge Double Intensite, Mikyajy Sabaya and Barry M TMLP (click on each name for review and swatches) - are resistant and leave quite a bit of colour behind. As you can see, it disposes of waterproof mascara in a jiffy.

Best of all, I don't have any breakouts from using this oil. Nor does it leave my face feeling oily or tight; it just feels clean and makeup-free. I don't know about blackhead removal since I use the Konjac Sponge and don't have blackheads. Nor can I speak for pore-unclogging, since I use the Foreo Luna for that. I use this oil purely as a makeup removing cleanser.
Bottom Line
For those who are too lazy to reach for cotton pads and makeup removers or micellar water, makeup removing cleansers such as this are a blessing. I would love to repurchase but cannot find the oil on Wish Trend, so I'll shoot them an email soon.
