Wishtrend Box 14 review, unboxing, photos: International beauty box from Korea

The Wishtrend Wish Box #14, released in October 2013, is themed Experience It Firsthand and is an absolute steal with six products for $9.99 - a whopping 61% discount for now - and read this full post to know how to get free shipping. I got some lovely Korean skin care and five full-size products, and they enclosed two samples with my order.

The fourteenth Wish Box is named Experience It Firsthand because the products in the box are relatively new to the Wishtrend inventory.

Wishtrend customer service:

My order shipped out on October 31 and came in on November 7, which is very decent. Packaging was a simple drawstring bag inside the external cardboard box. They not only sent me my tracking number on time, but also gave me a 5% off for my next order. They reply to emails quickly and enclosed a couple of sample sachets - a sunscreen cream and a BB cream - with my order.

Brilliant Loveheart Sparkling Powder:

These sachets are meant for a facial at home. You're supposed to dissolve them in five litres of water which then fizzes up. Dunk your face in the basin of water three or four times and there is your deep-cleansing facial. I'm definitely going to try out this innovative method!

Mua Cosmetics Star Cream:

You know when you use a product for the first time and know you're going to love it? I think that's the case with Star Cream for me. Forget whatever the packaging says; I would call it a priming, pore-refining, smoothing non-comedogenic moisturiser. I used it last night and this morning and have decided to persist. If the love-fest continues, I'll buy more. This is a full-size product and a complete bargain.

Helloeverybody SPA Vita Berry Shampoo and Treatment:

These don't appear to be full-size, they're 30ml each. Generous enough. According to their website, the shampoo is SLS-free. I haven't opened it yet; keeping it for travelling.

Skinmiso Pore Beauty Nose Packs Step 1 and 2 and Skinmiso Pore Essence:

I have never tried a three-step blackhead removing regime before. The Pore Essence is a primer that reminds me of MUFE All Mat (reviewed here). I look forward to giving this a shot, maybe before my trip.

Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Sheet Mask:

What is a Korean beauty box without a sheet mask? This pack is supposed to contain half a bottle of soothing serum, so I have to get another container to store the excess, when I open the packet. Of late, my skin prefers cooling sheet masks to even Lush, though that could change.

It is not a monthly subscription; you need to sign up for the email notifications, by when the joining vouchers expire (happened to me).
