Here's my input for Crumpet's Nail Art Challenge for Hallowe'en 2013, themed "Skulls and Skeletons".
I used: O.P.I. French Quarter For Your Thoughts, Konad Special Black and Konad stamping plate m28. I ended up smudging the stamping on the pinky as I tried to open my camera's lens cover. Welcome to My Klutz Junction.
French Quarter For Your Thoughts is from O.P.I.'s Touring America collection. It is a light dusty grey, which looks a tad deeper on the nails than in the bottle in natural light. Think Suzi Takes The Wheel without the green tones. Full opacity in two coats, lovely creme formula. The photographs are taken outdoors in natural light, in direct sunlight and indoors near a window.
Not a very Hallowe'en colour combination, but this was next up in my rota. And I left out the skeletons! Not with my shaky skills!
I will be doing a step-by-step photo tutorial on stamping nail art in November (hopefully without smudges).
I have two more Hallowe'en nail looks for you and then I'll go back to other posts, I promise! Look out for some traditional Hallowe'en manis over the next couple of days (yes, with orange).
